Description

Quality educataion is a vital human right that is imperative towards peace and sustainable development. This article emphasises the importance of quality education and targets policymakers, educators and stakeholders. The study underlines the transformative effect caused by the education of quality upon people and their communities along with its impact on socioeconomic and sustainable peace results. Quality education provides learners with skills required to make contribution for a productive society, expanding above ordinary achievement in schools and incorporating a holistic approach for students’ growth and development embracing physical, cognitive, emotional and social development. Quality education is founded on inclusiveness, easy access, relevant curriculum, efficient instructional techniques and favorable educational settings. Moreover, quality education is considered as the basis of sustainable peace. It equips people with competencies, understanding and values to enhence tolerance, minimise inequality, stimulate society involvement and violence avoidance. Nevertheless, attaining these targets is made challenging by funding barriers, accessibility unfairness, high standard of education, as well as political unrest. This paper gives practical recommendations, pointing out the significance of the investments, fair regulations, teacher professional development and education for peace. Resolving these obtacles will enable quality education to attain its maximal capacity for promoting peace and economic development. The quality education is understood as a system by which people acquire knowledge and abilities that extend beyond making sure each student succeeds in their future life and give students the motivation, abilities, and value orientation they need to improve the wellbeing of the whole community.
